IHave stopped over a Bourg en Bresse a couple of times but have not been into the town. There is a budget hotel not far from the airfield with a nearby large fast food restaurant. We have also camped on the airfield.

The people at the Aero Club are friendly.On one occasion we were stuck there by morning fog and then couldn't get away because they had an airshow. So we stayed for a good bit of the day and then left later for our next stop which was Annecy. Fuel is available.
