We called into this small airfield as a weather diversion some 15 miles out of Korbach. The airfield has a good tarmac runway and undertakes a range of GA and gliding activities. There is a restaurant and cafe on the site which wasn't open when we were there mid-morning. The staff were preparing for some sort of fly-in event later that day or the next, but we were received very well with a good service from the control tower. Landing fees were charged, despite the weather diversion, but at a rate of €3.50 it would have been churlish to complain.



Nothing is known about the hinterland and as no fuel was required we did not test for that.
