Lisbon Cascais, LPCS, is a busy civil airfield for Lisbon. 

 

The runway is orientated North/South.  On arrival we were parked in the North West corner of the airfield and were very efficiently refuelled.  Transport then took us to the terminal and all arrival procedures were quickly completed. 

On departure there was a strong Northerly wind blowing and that caused severe turbulence to the North West of the airfield. 

 

In Lisbon the taxi drivers took us to a very pleasant hotel and we had a sightseeing break.  Lisbon is a rather faded city and the sight of sea bream by the hundred in a sewage outfall put me off that particular fish for life!  (RWO 14.7.10).​
