This is an ex-NATO airbase where RWY 05L/23R is reserved for microlights and helicopters. However, the main 1200m RWY is now also available to microlights.

There are hangars spread all around the airfield and some of them house very interesting aircraft, so it is worth being curious and taking a peek inside them. The size of the hangar available to members of the local microlight club is enough to make you weep. I have seen microlights land on its apron.
