One of our members chose this strip to visit friends that live nearby. It is a long and wide grass strip with a friendly and helpful operator situated to the West of Paris and Chartres, and to the North-West of Le Mans.

 

There is no fuel or cafe. Toilets are available in the clubhouse if there are club members around.

 

There is a good quality hotel and restaurant in the countryside called Auberge du Moulin a Vent about 2 miles away. La Loupe is a fairly unassuming small French town about 3 miles away with a limited choice of accommodation and restaurants. The attractive cathedral city of Chartres is about 21 miles away and there is a regular train service from La Loupe but there are closer airfield options.
