This small ULM airfield is close to a large disused military airfield, inland from the port and resort of Frejus in Provence in the South of France. We arrived from Italy, having flown along the French coast just north of Monte Carlo and Nice.

We had a very frosty reception on arrival as no PPR had been sought and we had therefore not been briefed about the various sensitive areas which border the airfield. We didn't stay long and didn't go into town as our next scheduled stop, Carpentras, was still some way off. I would visit Frejus again but next time we should get PPR - see their website link below. We were allowed to use the lavatories but nothing else, in the way of food, drink or fuel was offered.
