Gap Tallard airfield lies in a valley at just under 2000 feet ASL, amongst the spectacular scenery of the French alps. This is a busy airfield, there is ULM activity and parachuting as well as GA.

Care need to be taken on approach to observe ATC (Information) who will advise what joining points to report at. There are various such points and it can be confusing.



Fuel is available and there is a restaurant/café on the airfield.  The nearest town is Tallard which can be reached on foot. In Tallard there are some modest eateries.
