Icaro Village Ferrara

This must be one of the best integrated microlight facilities we have ever visited, just a few miles from the attractive and historic town of Ferrara. From here a fast train journey to Venice or a flight in one’s own aircraft to Venice Lido makes for a perfect day out. 



The venue cannot be faulted and has every facility. A very smooth airfield, an adjacent and stylish hotel on the site, Antico Casale, and several restaurants there as well, all presided over by the firm but friendly figure of C. Alberto Bonazzi and his charming wife and family who welcomed us like old friends on our second visit after several years absence. Their website – link below – describes these things very well.



A fuel run to the local fuel station for mogas is all part of the service.



I would like to go there every year!
