L'Estartit ULM

​A group of us stayed for several days at L'Estartit.

​

The airfield has a good runway and fair facilities with a friendly and helpful operator. He was happy for us to camp on the airfield and if there was a charge, it was so small I just dont remember it.

​

The strip is walking distance into the small resort town where there are several good bars, restaurants and a fine sandy beach. The town is also within fairly easy reach of Salvador Dali's home/museum at Figueres.

​

L'Estartit is just an hour or so inside the Spanish border and could be a good stopping point for a trip further south or into central Spain.
