Le Mans LFRM is famous as the home of the 24 hour motor race.  We called in for a comfort break en-route to La Rochelle.  The terminal building was clean and spacious and clearly intended for use during the Le Mans 24.  On the day that we flew in it was effectively deserted. 

Our arrival and departure procedures were all handled efficiently and from what I can remember the fees were reasonable.  I cannot comment on the local area but the noise from the race track could clearly be heard and we could see cars using the track as we arrived and departed.
