Stppoed at Le Puy at lunchime en route from Carpentras to Perigueux. Le Puy is in the Massif Centrale at an altitude of 2700 feet. The airfield gets waterlogged and the grass runway may not be available but the parallel hard runway is in good condition. 



Fuel is available (subject to hours - refer to SIA Guide) and there are catering facilities at the airfield. The area is picturesque and contains many dome shaped volcanic mounds.
