Noirt Souche LFBN is located approximately 30 nms East of La Rochelle.  We were a no notice arrival for an overnight stop.  The airfield has parallel grass and hard strips orientated 07/25.  On arrival we were directed to a suitable tie down area for the night.  The airfield manager was very helpful booking us into local motels for the night and getting a member of the local flying club to drive us to the motels.  We did not stray far from the motels as we had had a long day so cannot comment on the local area.  Next morning we were presented with goodie bags from the local authority containing apple juice, biscuits, sweets and soap, all local produce. A very friendly and helpful airfield.  (RWO 17.7.10).
