Santander LERJ is a regional airport on the north coast of Spain close to the French border. 

 

We had not planned to go into Santander but low cloud and rain meant that we called for a weather diversion. The response was immediate, “call right base”, and we were in.  A 'follow me' wagon took us to a parking area and fuel followed shortly after. 

Once all aircraft had arrived we went to the terminal building and cleared the formalities very easily. 

Food was available in the terminal and flight planning was sorted out and we were on our way again.
