This friendly grass airfield is an ideal stopping point after entering Italy via the Aosta valley, a flight of 2hr10 over the high Alps from the French altiport of Mégève and a further 1hr35 to our final destination at Icaro Village.  They have AvGas on site and a good restaurant.



On one occasion when someone in our group broke a small strut on the undercarriage, he was taken into the local town and another was produced in an engineering shop for the princely sum of €20. Take care to avoid the hidden ditches in long grass near the runway sides…….



This is therefore a very friendly destination where a warm welcome can be assured.
